Married to Rebecca and father of 8 year old twin boy and girl. Property developer specialising in student accommodation around the country. Went to yeshiva in Israel for three and a half years and then went to Guildhall and studied business and finance. Worked for Bank Leumi for six years on their property lending team. Uri became a director of University Jewish Chaplaincy 10 years ago and is also actively involved with Chana Charitable Trust.

Julian has a wealth of experience as an accountant, which he generously shares with University Jewish Chaplaincy. He is also the former Finacial Rep. of Woodside Park United Synagogue. He enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren and divides the year between London and the beautiful coastal town of Netanya.
Andrew has brought great energy to our lay fundraising since becoming Fundraising Chariman over a year ago. He has more than 25 years' experience in financial markets. A Manchester University graduate, his committment to University Jewish Chaplaincy stems from hearing about our pastoral work, leading to him ringing our office and asking how he could get involved. He has one daughter at Birmingham University and another in sixth-form.
Stanley has been involved in the City of London since 1977, including owning several renowned companies such as IRG Plc, which acquired amongst others Barclays Bank Registrars, before being sold to The Capita Group Plc for a substantial sum. He brings great experience and deft to out Board and is passionate about Chaplaincy's role in educating our community's future leaders.
Edinburgh-born David Kaplan currently works as the Director of Community Services of the United Synagogue encompassing Living and Learning, US Chesed and Tribe. He is also responsible for Communities, US Membership and Marriage Liaison. David graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Law degree. He is a former Chairman of the UJS (Union of Jewish Students) and a former Executive Director of UJIA Renewal Scotland.
Alan has been involved with us since 2013 and has helped in implementing our rebranding and new web site. Alan has a media background and until his retirement was the Managing Director of the Jewish Chronicle. He worked for the JC for 50 years. Now a consultant with Hamodia, he sits on the Council of the Zionist Federation and is a trustee of Yavneh College.
As well as advising us, Peter sits on Barnet Council, is Chairman of Golders Green United Synagogue, and was for six years a Vice-President of the United Synagogue. He is also a Governor of Birkbeck, University of London.
Rabbi Dr Belovski became CEO in late August, charged with enhancing the strategic vision and management of our national charitable organisation. He is the longstanding Rabbi of Golders Green United Synagogue. He has an MSC in Organisational Psychology as well as a PHD, and a degree in Mathematics from Oxford University.
Hannah is 2015-16 President of UJS and works closely with Chaplaincy in planning ahead for students on campuses throughout the UK
