Rabbi Russ hails originally from Florida. He graduated from Yeshiva University in New York with a BA in Philosophy and has since received MAs in Western Religions and Talmud. He enjoys playing guitar and drums and routing wood. He is also studying to be a scribe. Esther received a BA in Biblical Studies, a Masters in Jewish Philosophy and since graduating has held a number of teaching positions.

They have three young children.

It is now over two years since the Shulkes family arrived in the UK.  For their first year they were based in Brighton serving as the first Chaplains for the South Coast.  During that time the numbers across the region more than doubled through their hand work and efforts. 

They were very excited to take on the challenge last year by moving to Leeds and have made an enormous impact on the students throughout the Leeds and Yorkshire region.
