Before arriving in Nottingham over a year ago, Amiel had rich experience leading Jewish students from the US and Europe who came to Israel on Birthright and Masa programmes.  Amiel graduated from Hebrew University with an MA in Ecology and Evolution, and a BA in Biology and Jewish Philosophy.

Einat is a lawyer who graduated from Bar Ilan University with an MA in Law.  She has spent time working with Jewish communities in the US and Australia through various programmes, including WUJS.

The Vasls now have two sons and love trekking as a family.
